Meet Mac

A Track Record of Public Service

I joined the U.S. Coast Guard at 18, serving in Charleston as a federal law enforcement officer and search and rescue crewman. That experience shaped everything that came after, from earning my degrees at The Citadel and Charleston School of Law to serving as an attorney, and later working inside local government to solve real problems in our communities.

As General Counsel for the Town of Hilton Head Island, I helped launch the town’s first workforce housing project and secured millions in federal funding for coastal protection. I’ve seen what good public service looks like, and I know how much of it is missing in Congress.

That’s why I’m running. I’m not here for attention, for headlines, or for political theatre. I’m here to do the work.

Priorities

Leadership for the Lowcountry

Families and individuals across the Lowcountry are paying more, getting less, and losing faith that Washington is working for them. Rising costs, an unaffordable healthcare system, corruption in plain sight, and a growing disregard for the rule of law are not abstract problems. They are showing up in everyday life. I bring real experience solving real problems inside government, where accountability matters and results are required. My focus is simple: lower costs, restore the rule of law, end corruption, and deliver serious leadership that works for the people we serve.

A Cost-of-Living Crisis

Families and individuals are paying more for housing, groceries, health care, and everyday necessities, while Washington keeps making it worse. Reckless tariffs and bad policy act as a hidden tax on working people. I’m focused on lowering costs and restoring economic sanity.

A Rule of Law Crisis

The rules are being bent for the powerful and ignored when inconvenient. From unconstitutional tariffs to the misuse of military force and disregard for due process, the foundations of accountable government are under strain. The law must apply equally to everyone.

A Corruption Crisis

Lavish gifts from foreign governments, pardons for connected criminals, and members of Congress trading stocks with inside information have become normalized. This is corruption in plain sight, and it is eroding trust in government. Public office should never be a path to personal gain.

A Health Care Crisis

Health care costs are out of control. Families and individuals are crushed by premiums, deductibles, and prescription drug prices. Women’s reproductive freedom is under attack, and corporate middlemen profit while patients suffer. Health care should serve people, not profit.

Help us Build a Winning Campaign

While Nancy Mace is chasing cameras, families here are facing rising costs, flood risks, and a gridlocked Congress.

If you’re ready for steady leadership, chip in to help power this campaign.

District

Grounded in the Lowcountry. Focused on the Future.

South Carolina’s First District stretches from Hilton Head to Mount Pleasant — home to military families, small businesses, growing communities, and some of the most fragile and valuable coastline in the country.

People here understand resilience. They’ve lived it. It’s time they had a representative who reflects that same strength and steadiness in Congress.
